Not every bookmaker treats AFL the same way. We look at what actually matters — market depth (not just head-to-head), SGM quality, live in-play speed, and whether they have the player markets serious AFL punters need.

Line betting beats head-to-head for value. The line market forces bookmakers to set a spread, which often creates pricing inefficiencies — especially in mismatched games where casual money pushes the favourite price down.
Player disposal markets reward research. Bookmakers set disposal lines using season averages and recent form — but they often don’t fully account for matchup-specific factors like opposition midfield strength or whether a player is playing through injury.
SGMs are high-margin products — use them selectively. The bookmaker’s margin compounds across every leg you add to a same-game multi. They are entertaining but not where serious value is found.
