Thursday night at Accor and Brisbane arrive badly hurt by Origin — Walsh, Staggs, Haas and Va'a Semu are all in camp, stripping the Broncos of their fullback, strike centre and two props. South Sydney aren't at full strength either — Murray is with NSW and Campbell Graham (calf) is out — but they retain David Fifita, Brandon Smith and Alex Johnston at home. The Bunnies' Accor record is a clear advantage; -5.5 is well within their range against this depleted Broncos travel squad.

Go Media Stadium is a genuine fortress and the Warriors line up against a Sharks side missing Fonua-Blake (NSW) and Nikora (Qld) to Origin. New Zealand have their own injury concerns — Fisher-Harris (calf), Halasima (hamstring) and Healey (thumb) are all out — but the forward depth covers. Jesse Ramien returns for Cronulla's centres but the away pack at Go Media without Fonua-Blake is a significant weakness. -8.5 is bold but the Warriors at home have been covering lines all season.
